About

Our program aims not only to allow children from Whitehaven to pursue equestrian sport, but also to provide them a unique space for personal development with support and encouragement from equestrian experts and an extensive community minded team of program mentors from a variety of backgrounds and professional fields. Our hope is that this interaction with animals, nature, and fellow humans of all kinds, will help them develop the confidence to face a world they have never encountered while knowing that they deserve to be there. In the longterm, BridgeUP:GIDDY UP is part of the movement to make the equestrian ecosystem more diverse and inclusive.
