PRINCE REMEMBERED THROUGH FREE PURPLE RAIN SCREENING

Tuesday, April 26th at 7PM at The Orpheum Theatre

MEMPHIS, TN- On Tuesday, April 26th at 7:00 PM, the Orpheum Theatre will pay tribute to legendary music icon, Prince through a free public screening of Purple Rain inside the historic theatre.

Brett Batterson, President and CEO says, “The outpouring of grief for the loss of Prince was so intense, we wanted to give the city the opportunity to pay their respects. This has been a difficult year for music lovers with the passing of numerous iconic performers. As we schedule the Orpheum so far in advance, it is not always possible to honor every worthy performer, but we are grateful that the opportunity presented itself to honor Prince in this way.”

This free general admission event is available as first come, first served and seating is limited. Doors will open at 6:00 PM and the film will start at 7:00 PM. Purple Rain is Rated R for sexuality, some nudity, language, and some violent content. For more information visit www.orpheum-memphis.com.
