Best Cities To Move To in 2021
Community | July 13, 2021
The pandemic is winding down a bit for the moment, so a lot of people are taking the opportunity to move . . .

With the housing market going a little crazy right now, many people are looking to sell their homes to cash in on the opportunity and move somewhere better. However, where should you move during this unprecedented time? Well, your options are near-limitless, but we’ve narrowed it down a bit for you in our list of the best cities to move to in 2021.

Austin, TX

There’s a really good chance you already know somebody who’s moving to Austin. That’s no accident. It’s currently one of the fastest-growing cities in the US, and for good reason. The job potential is through the roof. With companies such as Dell, Samsung, and Apple setting up shop here, you’re bound to find an excellent place to work.

If this is a place that interests you at all, you need to jump on it sooner rather than later. With so many people trying to move there, the prices of housing are growing exponentially.

Raleigh, NC

Our next city is another one that’s currently exploding, so it suffers from the same problem of rising costs, but it has so much to offer that it just might be worth your time. Raleigh is bustling with culture and opportunity. Since it’s part of the Research Triangle with North Carolina State University, it has a strong college scene as well as a large job market if you’re in the science field.

Charlotte, NC

If you like North Carolina but want to avoid the high costs of entry in Raleigh, Charlotte might be a better fit for you. The global pandemic didn’t hit this city too hard, but before 2020, it was one of the fastest-growing areas in the country. It’s projected to pick that growth back up in the coming years, so now might be the time to make a move if you’re interested.

Charlotte has a lot to offer due to its diverse group of neighborhoods. Whatever you’re looking for—whether it’s a job opportunity or a lively nightlife scene—this city has it all and shows no signs of stopping.

Tampa, FL

Another up-and-coming city is Tampa. It’s still working out a defined sense of culture, but all cities figure that out eventually, so if you want to take advantage of its current low cost of living, this might be the city to put into your sights. If you’re going to school for the first time or thinking about returning, this place is ideal for you, since the Tampa Bay area has almost 80 universities and technical schools.

Phoenix, AR

If you’ve ever visited Arizona, there’s a good chance that the heart of it, Phoenix, has always been a possibility in the back of your mind. The whole state is beautiful, but Phoenix somehow brings the style of all of it into one place. Phoenix has almost everything you could ever want: affordable houses, a thriving job market, and the largest college campus in the country. Plus, you have Camelback Mountain right in the middle of your city.
