SIGNATURE CHEFS AUCTION
Signature Chefs Auction Event Recap
Three liitle guys in mask stole the show. Smith, Jackson, and Parker Forbush are Kathleen and Matt’s #BeAmazing triplets. Early before the program started Smith came of to the stage to do a short interview with me. Now remember Smith is only 3 years old. He rocked it like a champion, it was only a matter of seconds before Parker and Jackson would join their brother on stage to wow the crowd. They attended the event wearing mask and capes of their favorite Super Hero characters. It was instantly clear that not only were these guys amazing boys, but Kathleen and Matt had already done an amazing job in training and grooming these young men. Smith, Jackson, and Parker took the stage every chance they could. They even helped with the auction. Also joining the Forbush family in support of the March of Dimes was little Ruby. Ruby is the youngest member of the Forbush family and she was there to support her mom and her big brothers on their big night!
The stars of the night were the amazing chefs …This event was a great example of what the future of our city looks like
The stars of the night were the amazing chefs. I have had the opportunity to work with Chef Josh from Strano by Chef Josh on a few stories, events, and features. This event was a great example of what the future of our city looks like. Josh is a young chef with lots of talent and lots of energy mixed with a confidence in himself without the arrogance that you sometimes fine in the high society kitchens of the city. If you have been watching the news or social media lately, you will see that Josh is quickly becoming a household name. His work on the Signature Chefs Auction demonstrates the value that he brings to our city. Josh shows up not just to promote his business, he shows up to be apart of the mission and to put in the work to make amazing things happen for the organizations he lends his name to. Josh was joined by David Todd from Interim Restaurant & Bar, Gary Williams from the Krewe Of DeJavu, plus chefs from Cafe 1912, Sweet Magnolia Gelato Co., The Capital Grille (Memphis), Gold Strike Casino Resort | Tunica, MS, Dave’s Bagels, Frost Bake Shop, Starbucks, and Another Broken Egg.
At the end of the night, Memphis had pull off another amazing evening of giving for an amazing cause. Thank you everyone who attended and thank you to everyone reading and sharing the #BeAmazing stories here on JustMyMemphis!
