Make-A-Wish Mid-South has kids who are diagnosed with critical illnesses reffered to them so that they can help grant their one true wish so that they can make it through the next stage of treatement or to have these memories last a lifetime. Now this does not happen by Make-A-Wish alone, in fact everything that they do is because of all of the people in the community that want to help out these kids!

The great thing about this is that anybody can help! They need wish granting volunteers, event volunteers, companies, schools, individuals, businesses, clubs, volunteer groups, and any group of people who want to step in and join Make-A-Wish in any form or fashion!
“Make-A-Wish® grants the wishes of children with critical conditions. Doctors diagnose one child every 20 minutes with a critical illness. Recent studies have shown that wishes provide long-term impact through increased emotional and physical health, making children more likely to overcome their conditions. Each year, Make-A-Wish Mid-South grants wishes for more than 275 children locally. The average cost of a wish is more than $8,000, and Make-A-Wish relies solely on fundraisers, corporate support, and donations from the public to transform lives, one wish at a time.
If you are looking for a way to help kids in Memphis then Make-A-Wish will create something specifically for you and what you are looking for.” (Make-A-Wish Mid-South Press Release)
