The Beale Street Music Festival After-Party with The Schwag: A Grateful Dead Experience It’s gonna be a long, long, crazy, crazy night.

“Don’t tell me this town ain’t got no heart.” Friday, April 29th The Schwag and their Grateful Dead Experience returns to Memphis, for the 2016 Beale Street Music Festival after-party and SweetWater beer bust at the New Daisy Theatre.

Since their brief hiatus in May of 2013, The Schwag band seems to be stronger than ever, performing a different show each night. After 24 years together they continue to showcase their high energy and organic interpretation of the Grateful Dead all across the US, only to return to deliver another unforgettable performance as they bring a dramatic close to night one of the Beale Street Music Festival.

Friday, April 29th Whitney Entertainment Brokers has teamed up with SweetWater Brewing to present The

Schwag: A Grateful Dead Experience and SweetWater beer bust for this year’s Beale Street Music Festival after party. So get those tie dyes ready because it’s sure to be a long, long, crazy, crazy night. Doors open at 10pm as The Schwag’s adventure goes until 3am.

About The Schwag

The Schwag is a band of musicians dedicated to carrying on the vibe and music of the legendary Grateful Dead. Founded in 1991 The Schwag has performed over 3,000 concerts all over the United States. This group averages 150 shows a year and has a working song list of over 200 songs from the Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia Band catalog. For four years band leader Jimmy Tebeau also toured the country as the bass player for JGB (Jerry Garcia Band). For many years The Schwag hosted its own Schwagstock music festivals reaching crowds average 5,000 people per event several times per summer.
